Several products from the Initial ceramic system from GC have been used to achieve the beautiful crowns in this video. They can also be used for other types of ceramic restorations, such as veneers, inlays, onlays, etc. Initial LiSi is a highly aesthetic feldspar veneering ceramic adapted to the light-dynamics of lithium disilicate frameworks : https://www.gceurope.com/products/initiallisi/ For the framework, the lithium disilicate glass ceramic Initial LiSi Press was used: https://www.gceurope.com/products/initiallisipress/ For further characterization, the painting solutions Initial Lustre Pastes NF and Initial Spectrum Stains can be used: https://www.gceurope.com/products/initiallustrepastes/ https://www.gceurope.com/products/initialspectrumstains/ In this video, a standardized layering approach is shown; however, the ceramics can be used in various techniques (Classic – Expert – Posterior), as shown in other videos. Preparation and wash firing The LiSi Press copings are shaped and prepared for layering with custom instruments and burs. The palatal surface remains full anatomical up to the incisal third to improve stability of the restoration. Initial Lustre Pastes NF can be used for wash firing and for individualization of the framework. Firing, finishing and glazing Final shaping is done with standard Enamels and - if needed- a correction firing can be done using the Enamel powder from the previous firing. Use custom instruments and burs for final shaping and prepare the crown for glazing. The final result after glaze firing: maximum success with a minimum of effort. Step-by-step by MDT Michael Brüsch
