In response to the impact of COVID-19 on the healthcare provider community, Congress has enacted billions in new funding, and the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has released several tranches of funding to various categories of providers.
On June 9, 2020, HHS announced a $15 billion distribution from the Provider Relief Fund would be available to eligible Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) providers. In that same announcement, HHS previewed that it is ?working on an additional allocation to distribute relief broadly to dentists.?
